Akademie für Nachhaltigkeit Pöllauer Tal eG
Status: 14.09.2022:
1) VALIDITY:
These terms and conditions apply to all services and are accepted with the registration or booking.
2) REGISTRATION AND PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES:
Registrations are accepted in writing or by e-mail. Registrations are binding in any case. Participants’ places will be reserved in the order of receipt of written registrations and the associated one-third deposit. In the event of non-attendance on the first day of the event, the organiser may give the participant’s place to another interested party. Participants will receive a confirmation of participation or certificate, which requires at least 80% attendance, unless otherwise stated. In the case of online events, a confirmation of participation can only be issued for one person per terminal. In individual cases, the organiser may not admit persons or organisations to an event or turn them away without giving reasons. In particular, if in our subjective assessment the achievement of the event objectives appears to be at risk.
3) TERMS OF PAYMENT:
The participation fee is subject to a one-third deposit. The full participation fee is due at the latest at the start of the event. In the case of online events, the participation fee is due before the access information is sent. In the event of default, 12% p.a. shall be agreed for all payments. The customer agrees that invoices may only be sent electronically as pdf documents.
4) CANCELLATION:
No cancellation fee will be charged for events cancelled up to 1 month before the start of the event. In the event of cancellation up to 14 days before the start of the event, we charge a cancellation fee of one third of the participation fee, thereafter a cancellation fee of 50%. For all events, the entire participation fee will be charged in the event of cancellation on the day of the course, non-participation, termination or unilateral termination by the participant. It is possible to nominate a substitute participant, whereby the cancellation fee is waived. In the case of participation in online events, the participant must provide the required technical equipment and the necessary (WLAN) connections.
5) ORGANISATIONAL CHANGES:
We reserve the right to make organisational changes for compelling reasons. In the event of cancellation of announced seminars, any participation fees paid in advance will be refunded. Any additional claim for damages is excluded. Should public law regulations exist that make it impossible to hold the events in the form envisaged at the time of registration (for example, due to epidemics), we reserve the right to cancel the event or to change the form of the event (for example, online instead of face-to-face). Should this be the case, the registered persons will be informed in good time and in an appropriate manner. Any claims for compensation for expenses incurred or other claims against the Akademie für Nachhaltigkeit Pöllauer Tal eG are excluded.
6) LIABILITY:
Despite careful checking, the organiser does not guarantee the correctness and completeness of the event documents and is not liable for the correctness of the statements made by the respective lecturer. Each participant is responsible for his/her own actions and experiences during the seminar/course/lecture. Participants are liable for damages caused intentionally or negligently. The organiser is not liable for personal injury, property damage and financial losses of participants that occur during an event or on the way to and from the event locations.
7) EVENT DOCUMENTS:
Seminar documents provided to participants may not be passed on to third parties or reproduced without the express permission of the organiser. The Akademie für Nachhaltigkeit Pöllauer Tal eG reserves the right to make subsequent changes due to printing or spelling mistakes or errors.
8) IMAGE AND SOUND RECORDINGS:
Participants agree that photographs and/or video recordings made in the course of events and in which they may be seen may be published in various print and online media (e.g. Academy seminar programme, websites, social media, media reports). This declaration of consent can be revoked in writing at any time. The revocation applies to all future publications, but not to publications that have already taken place. Image and/or sound recordings by participants are not permitted in any of the events.
9) DATA PROTECTION:
The provisions of our privacy policy apply. You can find the privacy policy on the website www.akademie-nachhaltigkeit.com/datenschut.
10) LAW/JURISDICTION:
Any disputes shall be subject to Austrian law. Furthermore, the jurisdiction of the competent court in Graz is agreed.
