Victoria Schlagbauer grew up and lives in the Nature Park Pöllau Valley. She has been the head of the Academy for Sustainability since 2022. As an environmental systems scientist with a focus on sustainability-oriented management, her professional path led her from product management, teaching at the University of Graz, and managing several climate projects to the Academy for Sustainability.
Anita Tscherne worked for over 25 years in the areas of human resources and management in various industries: from the 5* hotel industry to a private clinic to public, non-profit hospitals. Her focus was on the implementation of change processes through forward-looking organisational and human resources development with an emphasis on work-life balance and generation management. She is a certified JACK CANFIELD Methodology Trainer, systemic coach, accredited INSIGHTS MDI® consultant and has been a board member of the Akademie für Nachhaltigkeit Pöllauer Tal eG since June 2022. Anita Tscherne has been a member of the Lions Club Graz Panthera since 2002 and of the Haus der Nachhaltigen Wirtschaft eG since 2021.
Jürgen Flicker has strong roots in the Pöllauer Tal Nature Park. He grew up there and lives with his family in this beautiful region. Since 2013, he has headed Sparkasse Pöllau AG as a member of the board and is a member of the board of Privatstiftung Sparkasse Pöllau. In his spare time, he volunteers as a board member of the Pöllauer Tal Nature Park Association and the Werbekreis Pöllauer Tal Association, among others.
Michael Weiss has been working as a management consultant, trainer, auditor and coach mainly in Europe since 1993. He has conducted more than 250 business development projects in companies of all sizes and sectors over the past 30 years. He is also a book author. His latest work “The 12-9-7 Method” on the topic of transforming the economy was published in 2021. In addition, he is the founder, mastermind and board member of the cooperative of the House of Sustainable Business.
Erika Krenn-Neuwirth has been active for 40 years as a solution-focused management consultant, founder of K und K Wirtschaftscoaching GmbH, Kompetenz und Kairos. In addition to the Experts Group for Cooperation and Networks of the WKO, she is involved as an advisory board member of the Episcopal Mensalgut, author, university lecturer, member of the Rotary Academy and in supervisory board training. As a leadership coach, family-friendly human resources development and sustainable business management are her personal concerns.
Johannes Kielnhofer has headed Sparkasse Pöllau AG as a member of the Management Board for over 10 years. He is a member of the board of the Privatstiftung Sparkasse Pöllau, a member of the supervisory board of a medium-sized industrial company and has been a guest lecturer at Graz University of Technology for several years. For many years he has been working in a community-oriented way on the board of the association Naturpark Pöllauer Tal, in the Alpenverein Pöllau and in the Lions Club Hartberg.
Helmy Abouleish is the Managing Director of the SEKEM Initiative in Egypt, which was founded by his father Dr. Ibrahim Abouleish in 1977. SEKEM promotes sustainable development in the areas of ecology, economy, social affairs and culture, is considered an Egyptian organic pioneer and was awarded the Right Livelihood Award (Alternative Nobel Prize) in 2003. Helmy Abouleish is committed to responsible competitiveness, social entrepreneurship and combating the major problems of the 21st century, such as climate change and food security. He is a member of various international organisations and bodies, such as the World Future Council, Cradle to Cradle and Fair Trade USA.
